This week, ON Semiconductor will be exhibiting at SPIE Photonics West 2018 in San Francisco, CA. Photonics West is the world’s largest annual event for the photonics, laser, and biomedical optics industries, and the annual Photonics West Exhibition is the flagship event for the photonics industry.
At this year’s exhibit, ON Semiconductor will be showcasing our Interline Transfer EMCCD technology that provides extreme low-light sensitivity while retaining the ability to capture images under full daylight. This technology is available today in image sensors such as the KAE-02150, KAE-04471, and KAE-08151 devices. But rather than simply showing this technology using a tabletop demo, at Photonics West we will be featuring a fully immersive demonstration where customers can walk into a darkened room, experience a sub-lux environment, and understand how products using IT-EMCCD technology can truly allow them to “see in the dark”.
