Â There are several possibilities here.Â The poster seems to imply that you can reverse the bitmap from the front panel.Â He also said that intuiLink does it. Â Intuilink could be modifying the GIF palate, or they could be pulling out aÂ bitmap and doing a byte level inversion.Â The more likely answer is that most of the analyzers have commands that will simulate key presses on the front panel.Â Often these commands are undocumented because they are primarily used for engineering QA and production test.Â Since this box is SCPI based, the most likely place to look would be in the DIAGnostic subsystem.Â The DIAG subsystem is totally instrument dependent, so you would need to play around to find the command.Â The best solution would be to get a real GPIB analyzer and hook the box up via GPIB.Â Then run Intuilink and look at the commands going by.Â I believe both NI and Agilent have software analyzers available, but the better answer is a hardware analyzer as it captures everything. Â If you need to try and figure out the hidden command, I would look at DIAG:KPR, DIAG:KEY:PRES, DIAG:KEY or something like that, but I'm just guessing.
