  I'm used to RS232 IO, but I'll take a stab at this.

When your requesting a reading, should you have a question mark after the command... for example 'PR?'

Also, not sure about the bytes sending afterwards..... you should be able to delete those transactions and just on the PR? command transaction, click EOL on....
