  If you problem still exist, then I hope I can help here. I am not sure what kind of interface you are using. From my experience, some instrument has few interface available e.g. LAN, USB and GPIB. If Agilent IO Lib cannot detect it, I will usually check the instrument configuration system to verify the active interface in use. If it is in LAN, we will have to add that interface in Connection Expert by going to I/O Configuration | Add Instrument/Add Interface.
