  I am trying to set up an old B180 controller on a bench, without a 3070.  The controller works fine in a 3070.  On the bench, the controller boots to a console login and the screen and the screen flashes off and on and the speakers emit a loud, annoying beep with every screen flash.  I can type, but only when the screen is visible.

The network is connected and no changes have been made to the settings.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
