Dear MattC, I do have a usage for this additional command to know the voltage directly at the outputs of any Agilent power supply and to know the voltage at the send of the sense lines.
I would use this information to know a bit about the reliability of the connections. When doing measurements and calculating a resistance by using (V_output - V_sense) / Current, this value should remain constant (if the current does not change decades). Then when one sees a changing resistance value this indicates that the lines' reliability is at stake.
