    MIDI is probably the most simple USB device class. It only uses bulk transfers, and the standards document tells you exactly how to set everything up. In fact, most USB MIDI devices I've seen have used descriptors taken directly from the specification!

The old PIC32 MLA from june 2013 has examples for USB midi using USB starter kit II.
you can download that old MLA from here : http://www.microchip.com/MLA tab  Legacy MLA.
After installation you can find the description in the documentation :

the "old project" should include the source code for USB MIDI which should be easily usable into Harmony

I you read carefully my post I wrote that you need to adapt the MLA code into Harmony.
If there was an Harmony USB Midi example, I would not propose a more complex method...
Otherwise, you can start from scratch and create it yourself based on the USB HID Midi specification
