Basic capabilities are generally used in component and transmitter design and validation for engineers to characterize modulation and power behavior and performance through metrics such as EVM, ACLR, and PAPR/CCDF under a wide variety of test conditions. It also can be used for physical layer verification tests in RF receivers.
Advanced capabilities are for receiver design and verification, and N7624B delivers signals to address applications in the design process, such as during Rx chipset design and verification or module integration and verification. Receiver conformance testing is performed by generating uplink signals, including transport-channel coding. Pre-defined configurations include FRC configurations for receiver and performance requirement testing. It also allows for advanced receiver tests such as HARQ and MIMO testing when used with the PXB.
The channels in table A.2.2.1.2-1 in 36.521 can be duplicated with an advanced license configuration. I can make any of the configurations in that table.
