怎么使用现有的400A比特流从400A迁移到400AN

我们正在考虑用400AN替换400A。
从我收集的内容来看,我所要做的就是将新400AN的M0,1,2引脚设置为从内部SPI FLASH加载,我们可以在新的400AN中使用旧的现有400A比特流。

Hi all

We are considering replacing our 400A's with 400AN's. From what I gather, all i have to do is set the M0,1,2 pins of the new 400AN's to load from internal SPI FLASH, and we can use our old existing 400A bitstreams in the new 400AN's. This seems too good to be true. Has anyone actually done this? Has anyone tried writing a 400A bitstream into an equilavent 400AN device with internal FLASH without problems?

If this is the norm for these devices, we'll be very happy.

Steve,

Yes.  They are exactly the same FPGA device die.  The AN has a flash die stacked on it.

You do need to program the flash properly, with the right options set.  So it isn't axactly the same bitfile as you may have used, as what you had before was programmed into something different from the stacked die flash part.

But, the real good news, is that you do not have to touch your already working design, and the same ncd file is used by bitgen, so there will be no "new" issues that pop up because something changed (the actual bits in the FPGA are identical).
