如何编程8593e或8593a认为它有选择026或027?

如果我想将我的22 ghz分析仪升级到26.5 ghz分析仪并选择026 ytf / switch和衰减器,我如何编程8593e 8592l或8593a认为它有选择26,27?

I tried the 26.5 ghz initiate function in the cal flatness menu and it works great , even sweeps up to 26.5 ghz on full span, but everytime I power it off and reboot, it defaults back to 22 ghz....... anyone know how to program it in there permanently? thanks

ps the nice thing about being able to do this would allow me to extend the full span range to 26.5 ghz since it seems to perform flawlessly up to 26 ghz still in spec even without the option.

  Hi -

After you set the analyzer to 26.5 GHz via the Init Flatness menu, perform Config, More, Show Options on the instrument and verify the analyzer does state 026 or 027.  I’m surprised that you are not losing your flatness data when you perform the INIT FLT 26.5 routine.  If you are seeing the stepping in the noise floor in full span, then you are not losing the flatness, however if you see a flat line with a ~10 dB step at ~13 GHz, the flatness has been initialized and the analyzer will not meet specifications.  Option 026 had 3.5 mm(m) APC for the input connector whereas option 027 was Type-N(f).

If you power down and power up and the frequency extension is back to the standard 22 GHz range, perhaps your CPU battery is defective and not properly backing up the RAM.

  Hi, probably moot after all this time, but if you change the turn-on preset state to user, when the analyser is operating above 22GHz, then it should turn on in this mode again later. Mine does this. I also think tha last answer was not relevant as it was to check if the otions are there and the asker already knows they are not. 

My undeerstanding is that without 026 or 027 the calibration constant list stops at 22GHz, the date for above 22Ghz is not there. So I wonder what the analyser does above 22GHz. Does it simply use the 22GHz constant for all data points above 22GHz? If so, then the accuracy could be good form 22GHz but might be poorer as you get further above 22GHz. I cannot test this on mine at the monent, no sig gen above 18GHz.
