Good Day Sir,
Thanks for the reply. Well, the maximum running current of the servo i have should be at 180mA at 4.8V. I am not sure about the surge current but the readings i made with the pps at running were consistent. This is the ammeter model number : ksc1303-2, i think it's a dc ammeter based on the datasheet i read about it.
So my program goes like: a servo is given a command to make angle movements each second. I monitor the current readings (idle and running) through the whole duration of the process so the command is in a row for every 20msec (that's the lowest time i assumed my program can read current from the pps since when it's lower that 20msec, a query error occurs. And i really need a very small gap between readings to graphically represent the current reading at running state of the servo which only takes about 100msec to reach a certain angle.). My Idle current readings are good but the running, i am not sure. And also, i managed to use a 34401A DMM to measure the current and adding to my confusion, the DMM dc readings is the same with the pps and the DMM ac readings were the same with the analog dc ammeter.. I don't get it! :/
