We are in Germany, We will contact Agilent in Germany tomorrow. Let's hope they will be able to help us as we do not have a Service contract!
To be honest, the whole update procedure was not working at all as described in the Manual of the HW Upgrade package.
Updating to A12.13 on XP was not working at all due to a Windows problem (MSXML 6.0 SP2 that was installed with the required XP SP3 prevents the Installation of MS SQL Server 2005 which ist part of the Installation of the A12.13 Firmware for the EXA).
That is a known problem with MS SQL2005. I don't believe that this was ever tested by Agilent at all. Finding a solution for this problem alone took us almost two hours.
Our EXA was 100% stock - so far we did not install any additional SW.
A very frustrating experience for equipment that expensive - that is a Signal Analyzer costing more than 10.000 USD and not a 250 buck PC.
