MSO9000的偏斜校准可以直接应用于AUX BNC输出吗

My question is this:

Q1)  How critical is it that the E2655 deskew fixture get applied directly at the AUX BNC output?

Q2)  Can a short (0.5-meter or less) BNC cable be applied between the AUX output and the E2655 deskew fixture when calibrating high-speed probes?

  You should be able to use a short BNC cable with no problems. I spoke to factory support about this and here's the gist of the message:

If you want to do this, no problem, just recognize that if you do a skew cal on one channel with the cable, and a skew cal on another channel with out the cable, the 2 channels won't line up.

BTW, I never do an 'official' skew calibration. I'm mostly working on serial buses, and the location of the trigger doesn't matter. All measurements are made between channels. I deskew the channels relative to each other by putting them both on the same signal, and adjusting the skew in the Channel dialog.
