I was able to work around my installer problem by running it within the VM virt-manager runner, but I still can't run Vivado off my VNC server.
 
I've tried running vivado with this java setting:
 
vivado -jvm Xmx2048m
 
still no luck.
 
basically my setup is, I have a Debian server running my Ubuntu VM and I "can" vnc into my debian server and run the VM through virt-manager and it will more or less work, but I would rather be able to use the VNC server to log in directly to the VM
