  I am not an ENA expert, but I have one at my desk. So I was curious if this could be done. I couldn’t figure a way to do what you wanted exactly, but I did figure you can go to 16 traces, so 8 on each side, and then they have a feature to turn data off. 

So on the left side, for ½ the traces you turn data off. The label still stays there, so it’s not clean, but you don’t see a trace.  That gives you four active traces on the left, 8 active traces on the right.
