VLC快速最小/最大视频会导致Intel GPU驱动程序崩溃

我有以下问题，通过在VLC中快速最小/最大视频流，我可以通过高机会重现，崩溃英特尔GPU驱动程序。

I have the following issue, that I can mostly with high chance reproduce, crashing the Intel GPU driver, by quickly min/max a video stream in VLC. I think this needs to be reported mostly at Intel's side, not VLC or MS, because a userspace app like VLC shouldnt be able to crash the video driver even if it was a bug maybe in VLC, right?

I have no other issue anywhere, while gaming, prime95 stability, other media players like MPC, Chrome ect. It just happens with VLC and a fast min/max video action.

Error code 0x887A0005 seems to mean DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED, which is obviously nonsense. The laptop is a 2 GPU device with Optimus. So this seems to be a driver issue or a Windows bug.

Based on the error message you are getting, there are a couple of suggestions you can try to address it. Find them below.
 

  • Turn on VSynch
  • Switch off Anti-Aliasing
  • Completely remove both drivers in your computer to ensure a clean video driver installation. 
  • Set Windows power settings to High performance in the Power Options in Control Panel.
  • Run the http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 to possibly fix corrupted DirectX files.
 
If you provide your Download Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* report, I can help to get the right driver and steps for the clean un-install and re-install.

I have the latest drivers installed, both Nvidia and Intel (6323). Windows 10 is also latest October update 1809. The crash just happens with DX11 video acceleration, not DXVA. VLC.exe is inserted into Nvidia panel to always run on Intel GPU, which is also my default setting btw (run all on iGPU, and just excluded titles on dGPU). VSync is on of course as per default, A Global AA off option is not possible anymore since some time, Intel removed this for whatever reason, so I just use the default options.

Based on your description, the behavior only occurs when in fast min/max video action. So, the behavior might be isolated to this specific software/feature. Have you tried filling a bug report with their support https://trac.videolan.org/? I would also recommend to check their forums: https://forum.videolan.org/
