Hi,
The SIMULATED mode in Command Expert will not give you any result, this mode is just for leaving the connect as blank when editing sequence, after your sequence is done, you have to find the actual address of your instrument and modify the connection step. However you can use some software applications to simulate an instrument and connect Command Expert to this fake instrument, then you can get some data response.
