The purpose of the “Single shot mode” feature in AMM is to acquire the data at specified sample points and processed once. If you need a sample data at regular intervals of say 5 sec , I would like to suggest you to use the continuous mode with trigger function rather than the single shot mode. For your information, there are few programming examples including the single shot mode which available in the IVI drivers. You may download U2331A IVI drivers in the following link as below.
