Could I use the 6.3.1 version of the GNU Tools for ARM Embedded Processors?

I am mainly interested in these 2 features:

• A gdb that supports python extensibility: --with-python
• Support for newlib-nano: --specs=nano.specs
  

I am quite curious, why are you not shipping a later version of the toolchain with WICED 6.1?
