I have verified that the settings of the device and my computer match. I have verified that my computer is sending the serial command. When I send any command, i.e. *IDN or SYST:REM I get no response echoed back to me in my serial software. If the SYST:REM command functioned correctly, it should disable all the front panel buttons (except the LOCAL button) and any front panel button pushed should not respond. Since they do respond, I am assuming the SYST:REM command did not work. Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I could not find one for my device. Any help would be appreciated. 0
