GeneralDescription

The Smart Control Module (SCM) is a highlevel WIFI system module for the Internet of Everything (IOE). This moduleenables customers to add full-featured WIFI connectivity to variety of products.

It contains a Qualcomm QCA4002X-AL3X chip. Itis a single chip system on a chip (SOC) 1x1 802.11 b/g/n device optimized forlow-power embedded applications with single-stream capability for both TX andRX. It has an integrated network processor with a large set of TCP/IP withIPV4/V6-based services.

It also incorporates a high performanceSTM32F411CEUX MCU as the application processor. It is a 32-bit ARM Cortex -M4RISC core operating at a frequency up to 100 MHz. It features high-speedembedded memories (up to 512 Kbytes of Flash memory, 128 Kbytes of SRAM), andan extensive range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected to two APB buses,two AHB bus and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix.

SCM has already built-in the network drivers,only simple APIs are needed to implement WLAN features. The onboard powerfulMCU greatly simplifies system designs and minimize design effort. It supportsnetwork stack along with SSL security, enabling feature-rich internetconnectivity and reliable implementation of low cost embedded devices.
