嗨,我有HP8568B和HP8566A / B,它们都受到模糊格线问题的影响。
即,主要的痕迹是美观,明亮和锐利,但在亮度按钮上的格子“早期出现”,当我的主要痕迹很好,清晰和聚焦时,刻度已经失去焦点。

  Hi

I have an HP8568B and a HP8566A/B and they both suffer slightly from the fuzzy graticule problem.
i.e. the main trace is nice and bright and sharp but the graticule 'comes on early' on the brightness button and by the time I have the main trace nice and clear and focussed, the graticule has gone out of focus.

I know this is a common issue and many say it is just the CRT entering old age as it can't maintain focus for long and short vectors etc. But the interesting thing is that the graticule looks lovely and sharp at a lower intensity.

So I'm left wondering if there is a way to alter the graticule intensity in the firmware or the hardware. I can turn OFF the graticule on the front panel and the  
main trace stays clear and sharp.

So does anyone know if there is a resistor or a trimmer that sets the graticule intensity level? If it is set in the firmware then maybe the firmware can be altered to turn it down a bit. The other thing is that maybe there is a component somewhere that ages and causes this imbalance between the graticule and the main trace.

一些额外的信息:HP8568B在启动时屏幕上显示7-4-87 HP8566AB在启动时屏幕上显示10-10-89,我认为这些是固件版本的日期。

The HP8568B says 7-4-87 on the screen during bootup 
The HP8566AB says 10-10-89 on the screen during bootup and I assume these are the dates for the firmware version.

I'm a bit nervous about removing the memory chips to dump the ROM so does anyone have a hex file of the memory contents for these revisions please?

  The focus control problem on the displays are common as the tubes age.   What has happened is the focus grid has oxidized in which you have both the bright focus and sub-bright focus not working together.   When you turn the intensity down the sub-graticles are focused but the bright trace is dim to see.  Some have tried to rejuvenate the display by flash burning the oxidation with a CRT rejuvenator, however, this is generally short lived.

You can check online for LCD replacement kits for this series that will be a permanent solution to your problem.

在他们两个上都有一些不稳定的电阻导致了这个问题。

  Sorry to dig up an old post but I managed to cure this issue on both my analysers today. I decided to have a look and play inside them. On both of them there were a couple of erratic resistors that were causing the problem. Now the CRT trace and graticule and text are pin sharp in focus on both analysers. The 8568B graticule was especially fuzzy (and the trace was dim) before but now the analyser looks fabulous again :)
